On booking a session, you agree to the following terms and conditions –
Scope of Services
In case –
1. you are thinking about suicide, or
2. you are considering harming yourself or others, or
3. you feel that any other person may be in any danger, or
4. you have any medical emergency,
You must immediately call the emergency service number/ suicide helpline numbers and notify the relevant authorities. Seek immediate in-person assistance. This platform is not designed for use in any of the cases mentioned above and the service professionals cannot provide the assistance required in any of the cases mentioned above.
You understand and acknowledge that Service Professional(s) are just counseling psychologists and hence any clinical suggestions should not be procured from the Service Professional(s).
The platform is not intended to provide clinical diagnosis requiring an in-person evaluation and you should not use it if you need any official documentation or approvals for purposes such as, but not limited to, court-ordered counseling or emotional service dog certification. The platform will not provide any information regarding which drugs or medical treatment may be appropriate for you, and you should disregard any such advice if delivered through the platform.
The service professional may suggest/advise/refer you to obtain in-person care from a medical or other qualified professional. It is advisable that you take such a suggestion/advice/referral into consideration.
Therapy/ counseling sessions packages have to be within the stipulated time –
- Package of 3 sessions – have to be utilized within 22 days/ otherwise advised by the service professional
- Package of 6 sessions – have to be utilized within 45 days/ otherwise advised by the service professional
Counseling/ Therapy Session’s ground rules
Each session will have a duration of 45-60 minutes.
Exceeding the session beyond 60 minutes will depend upon the availability of the counselor
The sessions will be conducted via video calls only (Google Meet/Zoom/ Any other platform decided by the service professional). You and the service professional may switch off the camera during the session at any point.
No sessions will be conducted on WhatsApp or phone calls.
Your service professional will not ask for/share phone numbers in any circumstances.
Information and confidentiality
The service professional shall make all reasonable efforts to ensure that your information is kept confidential.
You certify, warrant and represent that the email addresses and any other information that You have provided to us are Your own and not someone else’s and are true, accurate, current and complete.
You agree to receive emails at the email address You have provided us. You agree to notify us whenever You want to stop receiving emails.
You may be blocked, restricted, disabled, suspended or terminated to use any of the Services at any time without giving any notice in case You breach any of these T&C
